Parking Update and Invitation

Almost time! Some last minute things: Parking may be a bear at the Center for Wooden Boats, but there should be plenty of parking within walking distance along Westlake Avenue North. There are various stores and restaurants are along the road (look for the McCormick and Shmick's and Starbuck's). Parking is free after 4pm.

We were also thinking of having a casual, open-grill BBQ on Saturday. Just a place for people to stop and say hello and good-bye before making the trek back to wherever they're trekking from (even if it's Seattle). Come by 5310 SW Orleans Street after 12pm.

I like music, do you?

Our friend Eli has generously agreed to DJ our wedding. He played some great 60s soul dance stuff at our NYE party. We also want to try to recreate some of the magic of our garage record parties (think 80s/classic rock/british invasion).

Wedding Details

Date: Friday, July 29th 2011

Location: The Center for Wooden Boats

Directions can be found here. This page also links to nearby parking lots (CWB has some spots available). Be advised that the entire area is a bit of a construction zone.

Time: Feel free to arrive any time between 5 and 6 (the bar will be open!). We're hoping to get the ceremony underway around 6:15

Other information:

Suggested dress is dressy casual or cocktail attire but it's on a wooden dock so stilettos might be a bad idea. There are also no railings, so it's up to you to fish your children out of the water. It'll probably get chilly, bring something warm to cover up with.


No gifts please, we have plenty of stuff.


If you weren't invited - sorry! The place is tiny so we couldn't invite everyone we wanted to.
